Summer 2012

Let the craziness begin!
Roen learned to hold his breathe under water... and to ride his tricycle in the pool.

There were chickens galore!  There were so many, mommy needed a new barn.

No wonder Mommy cannot keep the house clean.

In the pic below, we just got back from fishing in the river... more like swimming.

 Unusual Friends

Strange cloud formations over the farm

 Ice Cream at Nutters

Daddy, Roen and Wyatt walked Main St. in Sharpsburg in celebration of the Heritage Festival.  Wyatt's class sang at the opening ceremony.

Trip to the overlook tower at the Battlefield.

There is no doubt that these boys are brothers.

 View from the tower.

Spring 2012

And then... there was "Dougie."  who was the sweetest little orphaned fawn.
 He instantly became family.

 There were also new ducklings
And, a baby cow we named, "Dexter."

And, baby chicks to take on car rides.  This one's name is "Beaky" who was only slightly defective.
I guess it's uniquely crossed beak made her stand out in the crowd.  She was Ro Ro's favorite... poor thing

The turkey tom is "Harry" and the boys have a love-hate relationship with him.  Sometimes Harry loves them and sometimes he chases them all over the farm.. probably for good reason.  They seem to leave him alone these days.

We spent much of the Spring fishing at the "Club Pond" right outside of Sharpsburg.  The boys catch large mouth bass, crappie, sunfish and MONSTER catfish.  It's always a fun time.

Dougie loves all of us but, has really taken to Wyatt and Roen.  He loves to lick them and love them and
LOVES to play with them.
Ro Ro and Wyatt have sweet Dougie time.
